Memo of evidence filed by the State is taken on record. The petitioner is in custody for more than a year and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. It appears that 40 pieces of fake Indian currency notes and thereafter 27 pieces were recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner has as many as 20 criminal antecedents to his credit. Charge has been framed.

Considering the material on record, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.
