Mr. Samir Kumar Ghosh ... for the State The petitioner retired from service as Panchayat Karmee on 31st January, 2020. Pension Payment Order was issued in his favour on 7th February, 2020 and the arrear pension amount was credited in the Bank account of the petitioner on 30th June, 2020.

The petitioner claims interest on account of delayed payment of his terminal dues.

It appears from the details mentioned in the writ petition that there is hardly any delay on the part of the respondent authority in disbursing the terminal dues of the petitioner.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
