The writ petitioner has preferred the present case challenging inaction of the respondent authority i.e.

Regional Transport Authority, Burdwan, pursuant to renew his permit of stage carriage. The petitioner has stated that the Court had earlier, vide an interim order in a writ petition, allowed plying of vehicle, by the petitioner thereof, till the case is disposed of. Also that the present petitioners are similarly circumstanced.

Eventually, during pending of the said writ petition, the permit expired and had to be renewed, to enable the vehicle to ply. Hence, subsequently, vide another order, the Court had allowed renewal of stage carriage permit till disposal of the writ petition.

It is informed by both Mr. Sanat Roy and Mr.

Deb Roy appearing for the parties respectively that renewal of permit of the petitioner's vehicle has already been granted.

Having learnt so, this Court is of the opinion that there would not be any further valid cause of action, to be adjudicated in this case.

Hence, this writ petition is disposed of being infructuous.
