The petitioner seeks demarcation of his private property over which the petitioner and the private respondents are in dispute.

In view of the fact that there is no provision for demarcation of private property by the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, the writ petition is devoid of any merit and is, therefore, dismissed.

However, dismissal of the writ petition shall not preclude the petitioner from approaching the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
