The husband of the petitioner applied for long term lease of sand mining. The petitioner moved W.P. No. 6190 (W) of 2016 complaining inaction on the part of the authority to dispose of the said application.

The said writ petition was disposed of by the order dated April 20, 2016 by observing that as and when the State Government issues relevant notification under Rule 4A of the West Bengal Minor Minerals Rules, 2002, the petitioner's application along with others may be considered by the concerned authority.

The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is that pursuant to the said order although he was given hearing in respect of his said application, but no decision has been communicated to him.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents submits that the said application of the husband of the petitioner has already been disposed of by the District Magistrate, Bankura and he files a copy of the said order, which is taken on record, a copy whereof shall

be supplied to the learned advocate for the petitioner in course of this day.

In view of such development of the matter, no further order need be passed in the present petition. W.P.A. 7145 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of. Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been invited the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

No order as to costs.
