Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary including the statement of the petitioner forwarded to the police.

There are allegations of defalcation of money at the behest of the petitioner. In a communication which is claimed to emanate the petitioner, apparently, the petitioner acknowledged that he was liable to the de facto complainant.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1581 of 2022, is rejected.
