1. Instruction forwarded by the Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station signed on 21st March, 2025 is taken on record and the same has been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner in Court today.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station in not proceeding with the Bowbazar Police Station Case No. dated 15th October, under Sections 482/385/467/468/471/120B/34 IPC read with Sections 65/66/67 of the IT Act.

3. The instruction forwarded by the Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station signed on 21st March, 2025 mentions that, the investigation into the case is in full swing. The Court is at a loss to understand as to when will the investigation be concluded. The case was registered in October, 2022 and even in March, 2025 it is reported that the investigation is still in full swing.

4. The Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station is directed to take immediate steps for conclusion of the investigation. The progress of the investigation shall all along be communicated to the petitioner.

5. Endeavour shall be taken to conclude the investigation at the earliest but positively by 31st July, 2025.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
