AGP Mr. Saurav Chaudhuri ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner approached this court with a complaint that the Officer-incharge of Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station did not comply with the order dated 06.12.2024 passed by this Court in spite of his representation which was forwarded on or about 21st January, 2025.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the petitioner has informed the concerned police station but, it was detected that Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station Case No. 103 dated 16.10.2024 was registered for

investigation under the relevant provisions of Section 318(4), 316(2), 338, 336(3) and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023 against the present petitioner and others.

The land which has been referred to by the petitioner is the subject-matter of the police case which has been registered.

In view of the report so submitted, I am of the opinion that the police authorities have taken into account the representation but are unable to aid the petitioner in view of the pending criminal case which has been registered for investigation and the investigation is in progress.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to take steps before the appropriate court of law by exhausting statutory remedies available.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6237 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
