The State of West Bengal In pursuance of the direction passed by this Court earlier on 2nd April, 2025, a report is submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nadia stating that the appellant Narayan Biswas @ Narayan Chandra Biswas had expired on 12.01.2013 as reflected from a death certificate, which is tagged with the report.

As the appellant has already expired, so the instant appeal stands abated.

The instant appeal be and the same is dismissed as abated. The appeal being CRA 287 of 1996 is disposed of. Let a copy of this order along with the Trial Court Records be sent down to the Trial Court at once.
