It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the vehicle bearing No.JH-04K 6682 registered in the name of the petitioner was produced before the concerned authority and permit granted in favour of the petitioner by the State Transport Authority, Jharkhand. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the State Transport Authority, West Bengal to grant counter signature in his favour in respect of the said vehicle.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the concerned authority, being the 3rd respondent herein, to countersign the permit issued in favour of the State Transport Authority, Jharkhand in respect of the vehicle in question within four weeks from the date of communication of this order subject to the petitioner complying with all necessary formalities in this regard. With the above direction, the writ petition, being WPA 6420 of 2023, is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
