Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner prays before the authority to consider his OBC certificate.

According to Mr. Biswas, the petitioner has obtained OBC certificate only in the year, 2021, but prays for such benefit for an examination which was held in the year, 2014. Mr. Biswas submits that retrospective benefit cannot be given to the petitioner as on the date of which the petitioner filled up his form, he declared himself as a non-OBC candidate.

Heard both the parties.

As the application form filled up the candidate in the year 2014 shows non-OBC candidate and the result was declared as a non OBC candidate, his form & result cannot be rectified today in 2021.

The writ petition being WPA 7177 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit have been invited, the

allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
