1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioners participated in the recruitment process to the posts of Assistant Teachers conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education pursuant to a Notification dated 29th September, 2022.

3. The petitioners seek to change their Primary Qualification from B.Ed. to D.El.Ed. for the year 20202022. The petitioners possess D.El.Ed. qualification for the year 2020-2022.

4. This Court had decided a similar issue on 4th March, 2024 and permitted such migrations in W.P.A. No. 5598 of 2024. The petitioners are similarly situated with those writ petitioners. Subject to the petitioners' qualifications in all other respects and fulfilling all other criteria, they shall be permitted to

change their Primary Qualification from B.Ed. to D.El.Ed.

5. For the aforesaid, the petitioners shall be permitted to participate in the interview process being presently ongoing and being conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
