1. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 185 days and has been implicated on the basis of afterthought and manufactured facts. Initially, the petitioner was not named in the FIR but subsequently, the petitioner's name transpired.

2. Learned advocate for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the wife and two daughters of the deceased and also the post-mortem report.

3. I have taken into account the same and at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

4. The petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the wife and two daughters are completed.

5. Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the examination of these three witnesses preferably within a period of 60 days from the next date fixed.

6. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

7. Accordingly, CRM(M) 706 of 2026 is dismissed.

8. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
