In the cause title of the order "CRM (M) No. 1030 of 2025" be read as "CRM (DB) No. 1030 of 20-25". The department is directed to incorporate necessary correction.

Let this order be treated as part of the order dated June 17, 2025.

The petitioner is in custody for more than eight years and prays for bail. He is the father in law of the victim. Learned counsel for the State submits that five more witnesses are left to be examined and trial shall be

completed within three months from the next date fixed for evidence before the learned trial Court.

The petitioner has been implicated in the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

In view of the submission made on behalf of the State, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously in the light of the submission made on behalf of the State.

The bail application is disposed of.
