Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that another co-accused was granted bail by the jurisdictional Court.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the complaint lodged with the police. The complaint to the police names the petitioner herein. The petitioner cannot be standing in the same footing as that of the other co-accused who was granted bail by the jurisdictional Court.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM(A) 1586 of 2022 is dismissed.
