The petitioner participated in the 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for recruitment of Assistant Teachers in upper primary level of schools.

The petitioner had complained before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission that in the said selection Test, merit was compromised in selecting the successful candidates.

The Commission had afforded the petitioner an opportunity of hearing on the said complaint but the petitioner missed the date fixed for such hearing and is now praying for further opportunity.

Dr. Patra, learned advocate for the Commission submits that the grievance hearing was concluded long back in the month of December, 2021 as such

there is no scope to consider the prayer of the petitioner.

It appears from the record that the petitioner, long after the conclusion of the said grievance hearing, had approached the Commission in the month of December, 2022 for further chance of such grievance hearing, therefore, at this stage, it is rightly pointed out by Dr. Patra that there is no scope to consider the prayer of the petitioner.

W.P.A. 6446 of 2023 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
