Petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved alleging police excesses, as number of police personnel raided her residence on 24.02.2025 at about 12.10 a.m. Petitioner contends that the police officers represented that they came in search of her husband. However, her husband was out of station since 15.02.2025 and the police officers after not having found the petitioner's husband abused her in front of her three children and also outshouted her. Petitioner further contends that the final examinations of the two sons were fixed. In spite of requesting the police officers they continued their unruly behavior, thereby causing immense mental distress to her and her children.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that in course of investigation of a criminal

case, the name of the petitioner surfaced in course of interrogation and as such the police authorities were exercising their due diligence in furtherance of the process of investigation.

I have considered the submissions of the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner as also the report submitted on behalf of the State, particularly with regard to the nature of the case complained of for which the petitioner's husband was being searched. Having considered the same, I am of the view that since a criminal case is pending before a jurisdictional court, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional court for reliefs if she is faced with any inconveniences.

I do not find any circumstance to invoke the jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 6567 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.
