Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred an application before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education through Circle Sadar-1. After the application was received by the Chairman/Secretary, District Primary School Council, Purulia, the same was forwarded to the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Bidhannagar, Kolkata for consideration of the application made by the petitioner. However, no steps have been taken by the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education till date. As the Memo No.81 dated 17.04.2025 has

already been served upon the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education by the Chairman/Secretary, District Primary School Council, Purulia, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education is requested to consider the application of the petitioner and the report filed by the Chairman, District Primary School Council.

All the procedures laid down under the relevant rules shall have to be followed strictly for considering the representation.

The entire exercise shall be carried out and completed by the respondent no.2 positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order and the reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of the reasoned order to be passed. It is made clear that, this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the petitioner shall be at liberty to urge all points she wishes to urge by relying upon whatever records and documents she wishes to rely upon before the respondent no.2.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

With the above observations and directions this

writ petition being WPA 6277 of 2025 stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
