The prayer of the petitioner seeking consideration of his representation for allowing salary as per the revised pay under ROPA, 2019 is pending consideration at the end of the Chairman, Howrah DPSC.

Without entering into the merit of the said representation, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chairman, Howrah DPSC to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order.

Steps shall be taken at the earliest, but, positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the petitioner is found entitled to the relief as claimed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken immediately thereafter.

Learned advocate representing the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the legal representation dated 6th October, 2023 to the Chairman at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

The writ petition is disposed of.
