We have heard Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Manna , learned advocate appearing for the appellant and Mr. Sujit Sankar Koley, learned advocate for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. Since the appeal is in time and form, no order need be passed in this application and the same is disposed of without any order.

2. This intra-Court appeal by the writ petitioner is directed against the order dated 9th March, 2021 in W.P.A. 10847 of 2020. By the said order, the writ petition was dismissed directing the appellant to file the

statutory appeal under section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

3. We find there is no error in the order and direction issued by the learned Single Bench for us to interfere. Consequently, this appeal and the connection application (I.A. No. CAN 2 of 2022) stand dismissed.

4. If the appellant files a statutory appeal within 15 days from the date of receipt of server copy of this order, the appellate authority shall entertain the appeal without reference to limitation.

5. No costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
