1. Eye-witnesses recording statements under Section 180 of the BNSS, 2023 implicate the petitioner before us in carrying a firearm and threatening the victim.

2. Victim also claims that he was assaulted by the petitioner and that a firearm was pointed at him. Police is investigating a case of assault as also one under the Arms Act.

3. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

5. CRM (A) 988 of 2025 is dismissed.
