There are statements recorded under Sections 161/164 of Cr.P.C. implicating the petitioner as a member of the group one of whom murdered the victim. In view of the role played by the petitioner in the crime, trial being in progress and delay in trial was due to prevailing pandemic condition, we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
