Kutubuddin ...for the Petitioner Mr. Asif Dewan ...for WBSEDCL It is undisputed that the amount quoted by the West 22-04-2025 AKG Ct. 15 Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) for the installation of an electricity connection to the petitioner's submersible pump set has been deposited.

Learned counsel for WBSEDCL, however, submits that at least six poles need to be installed to effect the connection, and thus, additional time is required to complete the process.

In light of the foregoing, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to WBSEDCL to effect the electricity connection within two months from the date of this order, subject to the compliance of any additional formalities and the production of way-leave, if necessary, by the petitioner. Accordingly, WPA 6315 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
