The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited & Ors. Md. Kutubuddin ...for the Petitioner Mr. Asif Dewan ...for WBSEDCL The petitioner seeks an electricity connection for his 22-04-2025 AKG Ct. 15 submersible pump set.

The petitioner submits that he has deposited the amount as quoted by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL).

Learned counsel for WBSEDCL, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner has not complied with the necessary technical formalities for the effectuation of the electricity connection.

In light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner be granted liberty to communicate with WBSEDCL after complying with the requisite technical formalities within two weeks from the date of this order. If it is found that the petitioner has complied with the technical formalities, WBSEDCL shall effect the electricity connection within one month thereafter, subject to the completion of any additional formalities, if required.

Accordingly, WPA 6318 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied

for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
