Heard the parties.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the Ombudsman has passed a draft settlement order dated 16th July, 2019 and no final order has been passed till date.

The above fact is not disputed by the respondent distribution company.

In view of the fact that the draft settlement order is dated 16th July, 2019 and the date of filing of a representation of the petitioner is dated 30th May, 2019. I am of the view that the writ petition be disposed of by directing the Ombudsman to pass a final settlement order in this matter pertaining to the representation of the petitioner dated 30th May, 2019, within a period of four weeks from date of communication of this order. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 7244 of 2021 is disposed of.

The petitioner is directed to inform the Ombudsman about the passing of this order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
