Gupta Ms. Soma Chakraborty Mr. Subhadeep Maitra ....for the respondent Nos.5, 7, 8, 11 & 13 The petitioners have prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities not to give any effect to the L.R. Record of Rights in respect of plots in question. The petitioners have also prayed for an interim order restraining the respondents from dispossessing the petitioners from the property in question.

The learned advocate appearing for the private respondents submits that the property has been recorded in the Record of Rights in the name of the private respondents. He further submits that the prayer of the petitioners for correction of the Record of Rights also stood rejected by the concerned Block Land & Land Reforms Officer.

It appears from the order sheet in Misc. Case No.346 of 2024 that the prayer of the petitioners for correction of

the Record of Rights in respect of the plots in question stood rejected.

For such reason, this Court is not inclined to pass any order in favour of the petitioners. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
