Considering the prayer of the complainant/opposite party and the fact that the offence alleged are compoundable, the revisional application stands allowed.
The proceeding in C.S No.43957/2019 under Sections 500/501 of the Indian Penal Code 1860, presently pending before the court of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 8th Court, Kolkata is hereby quashed.
CRR 995 of 2020 is accordingly disposed of.
