On March 08, 2024 learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it has been verbally intimated that pursuant to order passed by the Hon'ble Court in WPA No. 19358 of 2021, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Domkol, Murshidabad has issued order for removal of encroachment and the said order has also been implemented. However, no such report from the State was placed on that date showing implementation of the orders. Accordingly, the State was directed to place such report as to whether the order dated November 18, 2022 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Domkol, Murshidabad has been implemented or not.

Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhyay, learned advocate for the State-respondents files report submitted by the Assistant Engineer, PWD, Berhampore Sub-Division-III, Berhampore, Murshidabad. The said report is taken on record.

It is found from the said report that the removal program has been executed pursuant to the order passed in WPA No. 19358 of 2021.

In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA No. 6510 of 2023 stands disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Connected application(s), if any, stands disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
