Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaint case being AC Case No.2235 of 2021 is being frustrated by the attitude shown by the accused person who is alternatively making himself absent with a design to delay the case. In view of the approach of the accused in this case, I direct that the learned Magistrate would on the next date invoke Section 143A of the Negotiable Instruments Act and direct the accused to deposit 20% of the cheque amount. Learned trial court would fix at least one date in every two months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 984 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
