The petitioner was an unapproved contractual teacher of Pole Hasnatiya Senior Madrasah, Khanakul, District: Hooghly.

The said service of the petitioner was terminated by the Madrasah Authority by an order dated January 13, for her unauthorized absence from her duty since July 11, 2018.

The petitioner is challenging the said order of termination of her service.

The petitioner was asked to offer her explanation for such long absence from the duty vide letter dated January 07, 2021 by the Secretary of the said Madrasah. The petitioner

did not respond to the said call, instead by a letter through her learned advocate dated February 06, 2021 demanded revocation of the order dated January 13, 2021. In the said letter, the petitioner assigned illness as the ground for her absence from the said Madrasah.

It appears that subsequently she gave a representation to the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education, the respondent no. 4 herein, for her reinstatement in the said Madrasah.

In the said representation she assigned financial difficulty as the reason for her absence from her duty.

The falsity of the explanations offered by the petitioner to justify her absence from the duty is apparent, which is not becoming of a teacher. The order of termination of the petitioner does not call for any interference.

WPA 7272 of 2021 is dismissed. No order as to costs.
