This is an application for expeditious disposal of M. case no. 266 of 2015 under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C. pending before the Learned Additional Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that a case under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was filed by the petitioner being M. Case no. 266 of 2015 praying maintenance. Thereafter on 25th January, 2016 the petitioner filed an application for interim maintenance which was allowed by an order dated 4th October, 2016 amounting to Rs. 1500/- per month. Being aggrieved by the quantum of maintenance a revisional application was preferred before the Learned Sessions Judge, Baruipur which was rejected by an order dated 19th December, 2016. The petitioner then filed a revisional application before this Court being aggrieved by both the orders where by an order dated

28th April, 2017 the quantum of maintenance was enhanced to Rs. 15,000/- per month in favour of the petitioner. The learned court below recorded the petitioner fully and only one opposite party witness was examined where cross examination is still pending. Several adjournments were taken and the next date was fixed on 3rd March, 2023. 3.

Under such circumstances, petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the case.

In view of such circumstances, the instant revision is disposed of directing the Learned Court below to take necessary steps to dispose of the application under Section 125 of Cr.P.C. as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment within July, 2023. 5.

With the above direction the instant revision is disposed of. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
