Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 7 years 6 months, out of the 18 witnesses 14 witnesses have been examined, few more witnesses are there to be examined.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has produced the Case Diary.

I have perused the post-mortem report. Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioner, as a matter of last chance prosecution is granted three months time to complete all its witnesses. If, in spite of cooperation extended by the accused who is in custody, the evidence of all the witnesses on whom prosecution intends to rely cannot be concluded, learned trial Court after the aforesaid time period is over will release the petitioner on bail on such terms and conditions as he deems fit and proper. At this stage, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Learned trial Court would adhere to the directions passed above.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 724 of 2026 is disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
