For respondent No. 4 The facts and circumstances under which the writ petition was directed to appear today in the list has already been narrated in detail in the order dated December 23, 2022 passed by this Court. The said order speaks for itself.

Pursuant to the direction made by this Court on December 23, 2022 Mr. Subhrangsu Panda, learned advocate appearing for the respondent No. 4 has filed his compliance affidavit affirmed on January 18, 2023 in Court today, the same is taken on record. A copy has also been handed over to Ms. Komal Singh learned advocate led by Mr. Chittapriya Ghosh, leaned advocate for the writ petitioner.

In view of the above, nothing further survives in this writ petition. Resultantly, this writ petition being WPA 5093 of 2020 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.

It is made clear that, this order shall not preclude the writ petitioner to take steps strictly in accordance with law, if the writ petitioner is advised to do so later.

Mr. Sougata Maity, District Officer of Minority Affairs, 24 Parganas (North) being the present incumbent of respondent No. 4 is present today in Court in terms of the direction made by this Court earlier. Since this writ petition stands disposed of, he is not required to present in Court in connection with this writ petition any further.
