It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in spite of initiation of criminal prosecution being Kharagpur (Local) P.S. Case No.732 of 2025 dated 11th August, 2025, there is no considerable progress in the investigation. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authority for expediting the investigation.

State respondents and respondent no.7 are represented by learned advocates.

Considering the prayer couched in this writ petition, this Court directs the Investigating Agency to expedite the investigation and submit a report before the jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date.
