Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the M/L. No.118 Rakib information furnished with Karaya Police Station were not acted upon, although, the accusations related to defamation, theft, cheating, mental cruelty and harassment to the petitioner and his old aged parents. Petitioner elaborated the incident in the information so furnished to the police authorities. The said information was received by the Karaya Police Station on or about 12.01.2024.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Karaya Police Station case no. 49/2024 was registered for investigation under Sections 420/379/506 of the Indian Penal Code against the respondent no.6 and the report dated 12.03.2024 submitted by the Officer-in-Charge of Karaya Police Station also revealed that the investigation of the case was in progress at the relevant point of time. Having considered that the dispute between the petitioner and the respondent no.6 arose out of matrimonial dispute and discord and the police authorities having registered case against the respondent no.6, I am of the view that if the petitioner is having any

other grievance, he would approach the jurisdictional Court with specific prayers. No further directions are warranted, so far as the writ petition is concerned as a case has already been registered and the agony of the petitioner relating to the police taking steps have been addressed.

Consequently, WPA 6917 of 2024 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
