The petitioner is a Librarian at Saradeswari Kanya Vidyapith, District: Hooghly, he applied for general transfer through "Utshashree Portal". The operation of the said Portal is now under suspension.

Mr. Ray, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the application may be considered in "Off line" mode. The petitioner is praying such general transfer on the grounds that the distance between the school and his residence is more than 84 kilometers, besides his wife is suffering from gynecological disorder.

The grounds on which the petitioner is seeking transfer are not convincing enough to allow his prayer, therefore, this Court is not inclined to direct the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to consider the application of the petitioner for general transfer in "off line"mode..

WPA 6936 of 2024 is therefore dismissed, there shall be however no order as to costs.
