Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than seven months. The case is based on circumstantial evidence. The petitioner has been falsely implicated. Her further detention is not required. She prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have perused the material on record.

The petitioner appears to have been last seen together with the victim prior to his murder. She had relationship with the victim for a long time. The offending blade and mobile phone of the victim were recovered at the instance of

the petitioner. Her finger print has matched with the articles recovered from the place of occurrence.

Considering the gravity of the offence and material prima facie connecting the petitioner thereto, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The bail application is disposed of.
