sn 18.6.21 W.P.A. 7335 of 2021 (Through Video Conference) Uday Sankar Mondal Vs.

State of West Bengal & ors.

Mr. Subhrangsu Panda ...for the petitioner Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today, be kept with the record.

It appears that the learned Government Pleader as also the authorities have been served. None appear on behalf of the respondents.

The prayer of the petitioner is innocuous.

The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Regional Transport Authority, Purba Medinipur that is the respondent no.3 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner dated January 7, 2021, alleging that a vehicle without route permit was plying from Haldia to Mecheda via Tamluk. Permit had been granted to the petitioner and not to the owner of the other vehicle. The said representation has been annexed to the writ petition. Without going into the merits of the case and without considering the allegations of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Regional Transport Authority, Purba Medinipur, the

respondent no.3 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated January 7, 2021 on the allegations as mentioned therein upon hearing the petitioner as also the registered owner of the Bus No.WB-33A-4884 which has been allegedly plying between Haldia to Mecheda via Tamluk, allegedly without any route permit.

Upon hearing all interested parties a reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner by the appropriate authorities.

The entire exercise should be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petitioner is, thus, disposed of.

There will be however no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
