The petitioner complains that virtually the property was sold out. The police authorities on enquiry sent a communication to the BL&LRO, Swadeshi More Sodepur, North Parganas for providing ownership details of the land in issue. The report at the relevant stage was awaited.

The report submitted by the State

is dated 02.04.2025. The Police authorities (Officer-in-charge of Rahara Police Station) are directed to inform the petitioner regarding the fate and/or outcome of the report of the BL&LRO and the subsequent steps, if any, taken by the Officer-incharge of Rahara P.S. In case, after receipt of the enquiry report, the petitioner is dis-satisfied with the outcome, in such circumstances, she would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under the relevant provisions of Section 175(3) of the BNSS. The learned Magistrate would assess as also ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations, thereafter, pass necessary directions as he/she deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6517 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with

the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
