The petitioners are in custody for more than seven years and submit that no independent witness was present at the time of search and seizure. The seizure was also not videographed. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have perused the material on record.

It appears that fake Indian currency notes amounting to Rs.3,84,000/- were recovered from the possession of the petitioners. Charge sheet has been submitted.

Considering the alleged involvement of the petitioner in the offence, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The application for bail is disposed of.
