21.11.2024 Court No. 25 WPA 7340 of 2021 Sl.32 s.k Manirul Islam-vs-State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Amar Mitra ...for the petitioner.
No one is appearing for the State/respondent in spite of service of notice.
Hence, the matter is taken up for adjudication in absence of the State respondents.
The prayer of the petitioner is an innocuous one i.e. for consideration of his prayer vide letter dated February 3, 2021 by the respondent no. I.
The matter relates to approval of the writ petitioner. The petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of serving continuously in the respondent-schools and recommendation by the school authority for approval of him, the concerned respondent/competent authority has not taken any steps in this regard.

In doing so, the State respondent shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The said respondent shall conclude the entire process as above positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.
Since no affidavit has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be denied.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
