The dispute between the petitioner and his wife has almost settled by payment of an amount of Rs.5 lakhs and the petitioner has submitted that rest of the amount would be paid at the time of final hearing of the divorce suit which is pending between the petitioner and his wife. However, this was not really a point of dispute in this matter.

The petitioner could not file all papers for getting pension due to non-cooperation from his wife as the wife was not getting the arrear amount as to alimony. Now on payment of Rs.5 lakhs this matter of discord has almost been removed and the petitioner has submitted that all papers of pension and other retiral dues on 20th August, 2023.

I direct the D.I. and also the Director of Pension Provident Fund and Group Insurance to take immediate steps for giving the pension and other retiral benefits to

the petitioner within a period of sixty days from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of.

The petitioner has appeared in person and his appearance is dispensed with.
