Mr. Subhrangsu Panda Mr. Supriya Dubey .... for the petitioner Petitioner was a primary teacher and retired from service on 28th February, 2019. Petitioner has not been granted retiral benefits, pension, provident fund or gratuity though all documents pertaining to his retirement along with e-pension format were forwarded to the opposite party no. 3, Director of Pension, Provident Fund & Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal.

Sufficient time has lapsed since retirement of the petitioner who submits that he has no other source of livelihood besides the pension which is yet to be received by him.

Opposite party no. 3, Director of Pension, Provident Fund & Group Insurance, Government of

West Bengal, is hereby requested to consider the prayer of the petitioner regarding issuance of pension payment order and also payment of gratuity and provident fund in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order to the authority and inform the petitioner to that effect within a week thereafter.

Opposite party no. 7, Treasury Officer, Canning, District - South 24 Parganas, is requested to disburse the pension amount in favour of the petitioner immediately upon receipt of the pension payment order.

With the above observations, this application being WPA 5176 of 2020 is disposed of.

Accordingly, the connected application being CAN 1 of 2020 is also disposed of.

All parties are to act on the website copy of this order on usual undertaking.
