Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, apparently, one Intajul was having an amorous relationship with the de-facto complainant. There was a free fight amongst the two family. Six co-accuseds were granted anticipatory bail by the Jurisdictional Court. The prayer for the anticipatory bail for the petitioners were rejected. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, Intajul committed rape upon the de-facto complainant and the husband of the de-facto complainant caught Intajul red handed

when such news traveled to the family of the Intajul, they assembled and assaulted the family of the de-facto complainant. He refers to the materials in the case diary and submits that, all the petitioners are named in the statements of the injured.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1623 of 2022 is dismissed.
