A copy of the report filed by the Superintendent of Police, Jangipur, be served upon the counsel for the petitioner.

This Court is of the view that the investigation is proceeding in accordance with law, and there is no infirmity or omission on the part of the investigating officer.

The report of the SDPO, Jangipur, forwarded by the Superintendent of Police, Jangipur, dated 28th April, 2022 is satisfactory.

It is ordered that the investigation into the matter should be completed and a final report submitted before the jurisdictional magistrate, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 15 days from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since the respondents have not used any affidavits, the allegations made in the writ petition, shall not be deemed to have been admitted by them. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
