For the Secondary Board ,, This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), South 24-Parganas, Alipore for not granting him approval of appointment as an assistant teacher.
It is to be noted that on September 4, 2019 a letter has been written by the school authorities seeking such approval. Subsequent reminders have also been sent to the concerned District Inspector of Schools but no reply has yet been received by the school authorities.
In light of the above, the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), South 24-Parganas, Alipore, is directed to pass a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from date. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner two weeks thereafter.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
