Petitioner prays for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in respect of the present police case, the petitioner was initially enlarged on bail by this Hon'ble Court on July 2, 2014 passed in CRM 7187 of 2014. The petitioner was arrested in respect of another police case. Therefore, the petitioner could not be present on a particular date of hearing of this police case. Consequently, the bail was cancelled and the petitioner was taken into custody. He submits that the petitioner was in custody for one and half years in other police case and for more than six years two months in the present police case.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there are at least six criminal antecedents apart from the present police case. Some involves fake currency and Arms Act and NDPS Act. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are unable to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
