W.P.A. 6622 of 2023 (CAN 1 of 2023) Smt. Jewel Mondal @ Jewel Nath nee (Mondal) vs.

State of West Bengal & Ors.

Re: CAN 1 of 2023 Mr. Mahadeb Ghosh Mr. N. D. Bandyopadhyay Mr. Pritam Ghosh .... For the Applicant-Petitioner Mr. Chandi Charan De Mr. Anirban Sarkar .... For the State This is an application for restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed for default by an order passed on 24th April, 2023. Sufficient ground being made out, the application is allowed.

The order passed on 24th April, 2023 is set aside. The writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

CAN 1 of 2023 is thus disposed of.

Re: W.P.A. 6622 of 2023 By consent of the parties the writ petition is treated as on day's list and is taken up for consideration.

The writ petitioner sought a direction upon the respondents particularly the Additional District Magistrate, (LR), Bankura to issue certificate in her

favour under exempted category as a land loser. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority which not being considered, she prayed for a direction upon the authority to consider the representation at the earliest. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that during pendency of the writ petition the representation submitted by the petitioner has been considered and rejected by the authority.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
