The prayer in the writ petition is for permitting the petitioner to be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council in terms of an advertisement for reciprocal registration before the West Bengal Nursing Council.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner hands up a letter dated 28th April, 2022 from the West Bengal Nursing Council to the petitioner stating that the petitioner's prayer for reciprocal registration is being looked into. Counsel submits that the said letter may be kept on record and the writ petition may be disposed of on that basis.
Learned counsel appearing for the State has similar instruction with regard to the petitioner's difficulty being considered by the Nursing Council. In view of the above, WPA 6168 of 2022 is disposed of on the basis of the undertaking given by the Nursing Council as contained in the letter dated 28th April, 2022 to sort out the grievance of the petitioner. The same is taken on record.
The concerned respondents are directed to ensure that the "No Objection" certificate due from the parent body reaches the respondents preferably within two weeks from date.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
