The NBSTC and others Mr. Victor Chatterjee, Mr. B. Basak ...for the petitioner Mr. Amal Kumar Sen, Mr. Sabyasachi Mondal ... for the NBSTC The writ petitioner has voluntarily retired from service of the North Bengal State Transport Corporation on 31st July, 2017. The petitioner is enjoying pension. The petitioner has claimed, inter alia, by representation dated 2nd April, 2019 that he has not been allowed the second increment under the Career Advancement Scheme(i.e. 2nd Phase).

In those circumstances, the Managing Director being the respondent no. 2 shall consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The respondent no. 2/Managing Director shall pass suitable orders and the same may be

communicated to the petitioner within seven days thereof.

In the event the Managing Director is not available, the person next in the rank below the Managing Director may comply with the aforesaid order.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
